Cinder & Pine Running Co. was born from the belief that running is about more than miles.

It's about the early mornings when the air is cold and the streets are quiet. The long climbs when your legs start questioning the plan. The final mile when you find something you didn't know you had.

It's the people you meet along the way, the trails that become familiar, and the feeling of becoming a little stronger every time you lace up.

Rooted in Flagstaff, Arizona, Cinder & Pine draws inspiration from the landscape around us — volcanic cinder, towering ponderosa pines, mountain roads, and endless trails.

Cinder is the grit.
Pine is the place.

Running is where they meet

9,300 ft / Everybody runs

We're here for every kind of runner: the first-timer chasing a mile, the marathoner hunting a PR, the trail runner disappearing into the mountains, and the person simply running because it makes them feel alive.

No matter how fast you go or how far you're headed, the goal is the same.

Elevation

Every easy mile here is run on thin air. It is why distance runners have been coming to this town to train for decades.

Volcanic

Cinder

The San Francisco Peaks are the worn-down remains of a volcano. The black grit underfoot is the mountain, broken up and scattered.

Ponderosa

Pine

Flagstaff sits inside one of the largest continuous ponderosa pine forests on earth. The trailhead is a warm-up away.
